Electrical Engineer
Ohio, Dayton / springfield, 45401 Dayton / springfield USAOVERVIEWUES, a Blue Halo Company, has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to perform hands on electrical engineering work while leading and building the High Voltage Power System program and team for the Air Force Research Lab at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. For 50 years, we have been involved in scientific research and technology development, and created and successfully commercialized innovative products and services. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Develop and manage in the design, standardization, modelling/simulation, architecture development, hardware-in-the-loop fabrication, and testing of High Voltage Aircraft Electrical Power System experimental prototype in an Uncrewed Aircraft Vehicle environment.
Develop, grow, and expand the Aerospace Propulsion & Power Technology expertise and identify, evaluate, and add new programs and potential products in the following areas:
Aircraft electrical systems
Power electronics
Power generation and related digital engineering
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING
This position involves working within a government facility and requires U.S. Citizenship
MS in Electrical Engineering (PhD in Electrical Engineering preferred)
5-7 years' experience in the development of electrical power systems and power electronics
Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and innovate team environment
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Demonstrated experience working with the design, development, testing and standardization of electrical power systems
Proficiency of MS products in programming languages (MATLAB/SIMULINK, C, FORTRAN, etc.)
