Logistics Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Logistics Specialist in Columbus, Ohio. This role is primarily focused on managing logistical operations, data entry, and customer service within the logistics industry.Responsibilities:

Audit invoices and maintain accurate records.

Timely uploading of necessary documents to customer accounts.

Regularly update and maintain various reports.

Track and record data entry tasks with precision.

Adaptability to support urgent operational needs.

Coordinate schedules for deliveries and appointments.

Maintain a high level of data entry accuracy.

Monitor shipment statuses and provide updates as necessary.

Provide excellent customer service through clear and timely communication.

Flexible availability to support urgent operational needs.

Requirements

A High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years working experience in import/export operations or a closely related field.

Proficiency with the MS office (word, excel and outlook)

Ability to use computers, software and other technology

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Detail-orientated and work independently.

Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication

Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
