Segment Risk Manager: IV (Lead)

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the financial services industry, for a Segment Risk Manager: IV (Lead) based in Columbus, Ohio. As part of our team, your role will be critical in ensuring our cloud strategy and information security/cybersecurity programs meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will be instrumental in our transition to hybrid cloud computing platforms and will be expected to build compliant cloud governance programs.Responsibilities Provide risk support and control design implementation to IT, cyber, and cloud business operations. Ensure IAM domain offerings adhere to defined governance processes, standards, and control requirements. Act as a subject matter expert in IAM solutions, balancing the need for speed and flexibility of cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Protect against ongoing and potential security threats by implementing best practices in cybersecurity. Support the financial services sector and help assess and develop our cloud strategy. Implement strategies and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Use your knowledge of cloud technologies to ensure sustainable practices. Audit and maintain accurate records, ensuring access control and privilege are in line with industry standards. Operate within the framework of our governance structure, ensuring all procedures and policies are followed. Requirements Demonstrated knowledge in Procedures, Policy, Workstation Support, and Auditing Proven ability to Implement Strategies for Production, Security, Practices, and Cloud Technologies Strong understanding of Best Practices, Compliance Functions, and how to Ensure Compliance Prior experience in Financial Services, Framework, Cyber Security, and Governance Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in relevant fields Ability to create and maintain Sustainable Cyber and Access Control systems Familiarity with Regulatory Requirements, Industry Standards, and Internal Policy Ability to handle Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privilege Proficiency in utilizing cloud technologies for secure and efficient operations Strong understanding of industry best practices in risk management High level of expertise in compliance functions and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations Extensive experience in the financial services industry, particularly in risk management Proficiency in developing and implementing risk management frameworks Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices Demonstrated experience in governance, particularly in risk management Expertise in sustainable practices and principles in risk management Demonstrated knowledge in the principles of access control and privilege management Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards in risk management Experience in the implementation and management of internal policies in a risk management context Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools and technologies Ability to develop and implement privilege management strategies and practices.
