JOB DESCRIPTION This position may be eligible for a hybrid work environment (combination of remote work and in-office reporting), with the coordination and approval of the appropriate supervisor. This position is located in Columbus, OH.Position Title: Transmission Project CoordinatorReports To: Senior Vice President of Transmission Operations Basic Functions: Coordinate with the various departments within AMP Transmission (AMPT): Planning, Engineering, Operations and Project Management to develop, implement, operate and maintain AMPT transmission assets. Essential Functions:
Assist AMPT team with developing and maintaining budgets.
Assist in developing AMPT Actual and Projected Transmission Revenue Requirements.
In coordination with Accounting, oversee Oracle project setup, establish new vendors, provide budget vs actual reports, and conduct other business related activities.
Develop purchase requisitions; review, track and analyze invoices for all expenses associated with AMPT.
Compile, organize and maintain various documents such as requests for proposals, agreements, contract amendments.
Assist with contract development: preparing work scopes, requests for proposals and associated bidding documents, and bid evaluations.
Assist with preparing reports, presentations and updates to AMPT management, AMP Board, and others as requested.
Maintain proficiency on FERC Standards of Conduct.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or Project Management with a minimum of two (2) years' qualified experience. Qualified experience includes knowledge/experience in fiscal and/or budgetary management in utility or construction industry.
Must be a team player with ability to work and collaborate well with others.
Strong organizational skills are essential; must possess an aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail.
Manage time effectively and efficiently; able to prioritize multiple tasks.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are essential; professional demeanor and commitment to customer service and teamwork.
Experienced using software tools that produce spreadsheets, written reports, and graphical presentations (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Knowledge of workflow processes is a plus.
Knowledge of project management software tools is a plus.
Some travel may be required.
