Job Details

Currently they are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer who can work out of their location in Clyde, OH. This person will be responsible for designing and programming electrical controls systems as well as assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with maintenance and assist with troubleshooting and repairs when necessary
  • Champion and complete controls and infrastructure improvements and modernization
  • Provide guidance on electrical/controls issues for future capital improvement projects to standardize equipment across all facilities
  • Develop and lead electrical training courses for the maintenance technicians
  • Maintain and manage the library of programs at Evergreen
  • Update and maintain electrical drawings for each facility
  • Ensure that all electrical systems are installed according to the latest regulations
  • Manage or assist with the implementation and upgrades of all electrical wiring, controls, and automation equipment in all facilities. This includes designing of controls cabinets, programing PLC's and HMI's, etc.
Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience or more in the following:
  • Troubleshooting/installing/maintaining Allen Bradley and Siemen's Controls, VFD motor controls, 110/220/480 VAC and components, and process sensors of all types.
  • 24VAC and 24VDC Industrial circuits
  • Experience calibrating and testing controls, verifying instrumentation accuracy and effectiveness, and performing routine maintenance on the plant-wide controls system.
  • Experience creating and editing Allen Bradley and Siemen's PLC programs
  • HMI programming
  • Reading and creating technical documents and electrical drawings, interpreting and red-lining detailed control and instrumentation schematics, ladder logic diagrams, wiring schematics and PID's/PFD's.
  • Creating documents, emails, spreadsheets, presentations etc. using Microsoft Office
