Mobile Grader

The Mobile Grader responsible for safely operating equipment while inspecting, sorting, and grading scrap metal to ensure materials are properly classified and yard operations run efficiently.What you're responsible for:Inspecting, identifying, and grading ferrous and non-ferrous scrap materials according to company standards.Operating mobile equipment safely to move, sort, and stockpile materials throughout the yard.Verifying incoming and outgoing materials for quality, contamination, and proper classification.Communicating with scale operators, yard personnel, drivers, and management regarding material grades and load acceptance.Assisting customers and drivers by directing them to the appropriate unloading areas.Maintaining accurate records of graded materials and reporting discrepancies when necessary.Monitoring inventory and assisting with material organization to maximize efficiency and safety.Performing routine equipment inspections and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.Following all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and operational procedures.Performing all other related duties as assigned.
