Part- Time Dayshift Retail Employee /or Part- Time Evening Production

Breadsmith is an artisan bakery in the Hyde Park Square. We make fresh bread and sweets daily.

Here is what we are looking for-

Retail Job includes (but not limited to):

- Processing customer transactions (cash register, slicing/bagging products, handling customer orders)

- Opening/closing the store (icing products in the morning, brewing coffee, sweeping and mopping at end of day, etc.)

- Generalized cleaning (as needed, usually requested by management, done during downtime)

- Dishes (cleaning pans, utensils, ect.)

- Prepping for markets (bagging sweets for sale at farmer's markets)

- Scooping (with a disher) products for future production

Production Job includes (but not limited to)-

-Measuring Ingredients

-Mixing Doughs

-Weighing Dough Portions

-Shaping Dough

-Baking Bread/Sweets

-Basic foodservice cleaning (dishes, floors, surfaces)

The store is open 7am- 5pm Tuesday- Friday, 7am-4pm Saturdays, and 8am-2 pm Sundays. Retail shifts start/end within an hour of each side of that window. Shifts are typically 5-8 hours. Weekend availability is required.

Production shifts start at 4pm, 6:45pm, or 8:15pm (depending on position) and the end time varies, but shifts are typically 4-6 hours.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Pay: $13-$15 an hour based on experience (paid every 2 weeks) + tips (paid monthly) and free bread every shift!

Plenty of room for raises if you show good effort.
