This role offers a unique blend of challenging engagements, professional development opportunities, and exposure to various industries, making it an ideal fit for individuals seeking to advance their careers in accounting.As a Senior Accountant Consultant, your extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in accounting principles and practices will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions tailored to our clients' needs. You will collaborate closely with our clients' finance teams to streamline processes, optimize financial performance, and ensure compliance with regulations. Additionally, you will participate in general ledger accounting, complex reconciliation, variance analysis, budgeting, and financial statement preparation. Requirements Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to clients.

Review and analyze complex financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Monthly accounting responsibilities including month-end close, variance analysis, and reconciliation.

Provide guidance and support to clients on accounting best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Assist in the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and processes.

Mentor and train junior staff members as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience working as a senior accountant or similar role.

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards (GAAP/IFRS).

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Prior consulting experience or experience working in a client-facing role is a plus.
