A successful software/cloud developer provides input and support for, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). They supports teams and emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. Support the development and operations of cloud based solutions in a fast-paced environment. Utilizing a wide array of AWS Government services and a modern codebase, these solutions are built on leading edge technologies.

  • Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps - 3-5y
  • Javascript/es6 & subsequent ECMAScript specifications – 3y
  • Typescript – 1y
  • REST Protocol – 3y
  • GIT or comparable code versioning solution – 3y
  • NodeJS server runtime – 3y
  • SAM or comparable IAC solution e.g., TerraForm, Serverless – 1y
  • Lambda or comparable Serverless compute solution e.g., Google Cloud Functions – 2y
  • CodePipeline or comparable build and deploy CI/CD solution e.g., Jenkins, Ansible -1y
  • Worked in an AGILE/SCRUM based software development environment – 2y
  • Front-end UI/UX – 1y
  • Strong grasp of all the aspects of the SDLC Nice to Haves:
  • Front-end framework experience, e.g., React, Angular
  • AWS CDK
  • AWS OpenSearch, or commercial Elastic Stack experience
