Tree Crew – Climber or Groundsman

Petrarca Landcare is hiring immediately for a FULL-TIME climber and groundsman on our Tree Crew.

Job Responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to:

· This position will require working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

· Unload/load materials, tools, and equipment

· Properly prepare, maintain, and safely operate a variety of equipment to include chainsaws, pole saws, hand lines/ropes, dingo, chippers, stump grinders, aerial lifts, climbing gear, etc.

· Climbing, pruning, thinning, dead wooding, and removing trees on residential and commercial properties

· Work from the ground cutting wood, felling trees, dragging, and chipping brush

· Raking and cleaning up of job site

· Provide assistance to the Log Mek & Tree Mek Operator

· Participate in weekly safety meetings and daily job briefings

· Able to move and/or lift upwards of 50 pounds consistently

· Adhere to all company policies and procedures

· Perform other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
