Upholsterer

SUMMARY  This is a skilled position in the assembly and upholstery of furniture including but not limited to stools and exam tables.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Inspects raw material at the start of each new order for imperfections.Fits, installs and secures material on frames using hand tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, glue and/or staples.Upholsters a variety of components using hand strength, pneumatic upholstery press and trade techniques to stretch and form materials to frames.Reads production schedule to ensure work order components are completed in a timely manner.Checks completed work visually for accuracy.Assists with and is cross trained in other areas; performs other duties as assigned.Adheres to all Company Policies and Procedures and incorporates sound safety and housekeeping practices in day to day work environment.
