ESTIMATED PAY RANGE $47,000 - $55,000 JOB SUMMARY As a Mechanical Test Technician in Fargo, North Dakota, you may: perform tests on mechanical components and systems; use engineering drawings and diagrams to understand the components being tested; utilize software and/or testing machines to collect data and analyze it to identify trends or problems; use CAD software to develop fixtures as needed; follow issues to resolution and validate the resolution; work with support groups such as Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners. QUALIFICATIONS
A 2-year degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Technician, Manufacturing Systems Technology, or related field is preferred
Data analysis skills required; experience with Python or similar software preferred
Experience with 3D modeling software required
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems required
Agricultural, construction, automotive, or similar background is a plus
