Wood Shop Assistant/ shop manager

Custom wood working shop seeks shop assistant. Must be able to work in all stage of assembly of Cabinets, drop zones, book shelfs, mantles, shutters, columns, etc. while ensuring a high-quality finished product.

Responsibilities:

Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools

Understanding company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques

Follow quality and safety standards

Needs to be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Maintain shop equipment

Additional tasks or projects as defined by shop foreman

Requirements:

Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Team oriented

Quality conscious

Honest and reliable
