Composite Technician / Apprentice

Veloce Planes is seeking a Composite Technician / Apprentice to assist with building composite parts for our experimental aircraft.

You don’t need prior aviation experience — we’ll train you in all aspects of composite layup, trimming, bonding, and finishing.

Responsibilities:

Assist in making fiberglass and carbon fiber parts from molds

Mix epoxy systems, apply layups, and prepare materials

Sand, fair, and finish composite surfaces

Keep workspace clean and organized

Follow detailed instructions and quality standards

Requirements:

Good hands-on skills (auto body, woodworking, fiberglass, or similar a plus)

Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work

Able to follow written and verbal directions carefully

Punctual, dependable, and able to work in person in Whiteville, NC

Comfortable with physical shop work

Compensation:

Hourly pay based on experience. Training provided for motivated individuals.

Schedule:

Full-time preferred, flexible start hours possible.
