Join a Herpes Vaccine Research Study

Genital herpes is a common sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). Genital herpes can often be spread by skin-to-skin contact during sexual activity. Some people infected with the virus may have very mild symptoms or no symptoms, however, they may still be able to spread the virus. Other people have pain, itching and sores around the genitals or anus.

This research study is evaluating the safety and immune response of an investigational herpes vaccine to potentially help prevent genital herpes lesions.

The study may be an option if you:

Are aged 18-55 years old

Have had no history of genital herpes

Other criteria apply.

This research study will include 12 scheduled visits to the clinic site and 1 phone call. Qualified participants may receive the vaccine and will receive study-related evaluations and care at no cost. Financial compensation will also be provided for time and travel expenses to qualified participants.
