Customer Service Representative

Description We are in search of a dedicated Customer Service Representative to be a part of our team in the logistics industry located in Wilmington, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The successful candidate will be involved in various customer service duties, including scheduling deliveries, tracking and tracing shipments, and maintaining communication through emails. Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications. Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required. Schedule and track deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate service. Manage and trace shipments, keeping customers informed about the status of their cargo. Maintain effective communication with customers through emails. Utilize Excel for the creation and maintenance of spreadsheets, aiding in the organization of information. Use Trinium system for managing logistics-related tasks. Ensure all customer inquiries are resolved promptly and professionally. Uphold a high level of customer service at all times. Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the logistics industry Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of Excel formulas Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of resolving customer queries effectively Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy in work Comfortable working in a team environment, as well as independently Proactive problem-solving abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel Familiarity with logistics operations and practices is preferred.
