Shared Services Account Maintenance Specialist (Hybrid)

Overview:Completes multiple task-oriented operational duties of varying difficulty to update account and account-related data on Bank systems with variable urgency based on the request and daily volumes.Primary Responsibilities:

Process routine and standard transactions according to established procedures.

Communicate with internal business partners and related service partners as required.

Escalate non-standard or high risk exceptions to more experienced personnel as appropriate.

Prioritize and manage own workload to meet service level agreements and internal service delivery standards.

Identify and report all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities to management.

Understand and apply rules to evaluate appropriateness of request prior to processing account maintenance requests.

Process account maintenance transactions in multiple systems.

Participate in dual verification process for entries made by other team members.

Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Complete other related duties as assigned.
