Your primary goal will be to enhance the health of our customers and communities. This role involves managing grantee selection and support, program budgets, and consulting engagements, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives. We're seeking a candidate experienced in CSR, strategy, and business management, particularly in handling complex, company-wide initiatives.Additionally, you'll collaborate with the Executive Director and CSR Strategy Director to spearhead Blue Cross NC’s CSR initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass managing grantmaking programs, collaborating with grantees, and contributing to strategic initiatives, playing a pivotal role in uniting business goals with social impact to improve health and well-being across North Carolina.What You’ll Do:CSR Strategy Development:

Collaborate across departments to develop and execute a comprehensive CSR strategy aligned with our mission, values, and business objectives.

Partner with teams to design signature programs aiming to advance our mission of improving health for customers and communities.

Manage and implement CSR programs addressing social and environmental concerns, with a particular focus on adolescent behavioral health challenges.

Assess and report on project progress and impact, ensuring compliance and providing insights for program enhancement and decision-making.

Program Management:

Identify, design, and implement CSR programs that address social and environmental issues, aligning with the company's goals, including a program focused on addressing adolescent behavioral health.

Partner closely with Community Engagement, Drivers of Health, and DEI teams to ensure alignment.

Manage the grantmaking process, including soliciting, reviewing, and awarding grants to organizations aligned with our mission and strategic priorities.

Monitor and assess the progress and impact of funded projects, ensuring they align with program objectives and meet compliance requirements.

Oversee the budget for assigned programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Cultivate stakeholder engagement, internally and externally, ensuring consistent communication and collaboration for CSR initiatives.

Engage in industry collaboration to share best practices and advance CSR efforts.

What You Bring (Hiring Requirements):

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Sustainability, Social Sciences).

8+ years of program management experience within CSR departments, Foundations, consulting firms, or nonprofits.

In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

Demonstrated success in developing and executing CSR strategies, managing grantee relationships, and exceptional project management.

Profound understanding of CSR principles, trends, and impact measurement frameworks, regulations, and standards.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Advance knowledge in data analysis and reporting tools.

Familiarity with CSR-related regulations and standards, coupled with a passion for CSR and health improvement.

Sound judgment and independent decision-making abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
