Shop Helper - Coatings Division

Elite Custom Coatings is one of the leading industrial coating facilities in the Triangle. We are growing and our team is too! We are currently looking to fill a general labor position. Prior experience with sandblasting, painting or powder coating is preferred.

Must be willing to show up to work on time and work hard. This is a manual labor position helping to support our powder coating and paint department. Responsibilities may include sandblasting, prepping metal for coating, pick-ups and deliveries and spraying the paint/powder coating on products.

Examples of items our company paints and powder coats include:

-In-house ornamental iron, including railings, gates, spiral staircases and fencing

-Roofing and awning parts

-Industrial machine and manufactured parts such as frames, thermal oven parts, plates and brackets

-And much more!

Please note that we focus primarily on industrial and commercial coatings, not automotive parts.

The position is full-time, 40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime. We are willing to train the right candidate to learn how to powder coat or paint after their initial training.

Drug-free workplace. Starting pay rate ranges from $17 - $19 per hour based on experience with weekly paychecks and an opportunity for a pay increase and PTO after 90 days. NC Driver's License, clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
