Day Porter Job Description

Overview:

Monday Wednesday and Friday 9:30-1:00 pm 3 day going to 5 day at some point soon

We are seeking a dedicated Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas, performing various cleaning duties, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.

Duties:

- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming

- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness standards

- Assist with porter duties such as trash removal and restocking supplies

- Execute commercial cleaning tasks in accordance with established protocols

- Support facilities maintenance by promptly addressing any maintenance issues

- Ensure all areas are kept clean, sanitized, and presentable at all times

Experience:

- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles

- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently

Skills:

- Floor care expertise

- Industrial cleaning proficiency

- Porter responsibilities understanding

- Commercial cleaning experience

- Facilities maintenance knowledge

- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitize effectively
