Landscape Construction Worker

Opening for a Crew Worker with our landscape operation

Work encountered in this position:

hardscapes, such as retaining walls and patios

landscape construction, structure building, etc

tree work, such as removals and pruning

grading and site work with equipment (excavators, skid steer, mini skid steer)

drainage and irrigation

tree/shrub planting &hedging plants

sod and seed/straw work

mulch/pine straw

Experience driving trucks with trailers, dump trucks, dumpster truck as well operating skid steer, tractor, or fork lift is a plus.

Typical hours are 7am-4pm or later (Overtime for over 80 hours per 2-week pay period). MUST be committed to on-time arrival to thework lot (near NC State Fairgrounds), able to work overtime on some days andpart-days on others (but no weekends), and recent experience physically handling the heat and sun of a NC summer. "Scheduled Off" times are not a problem "No-Shows" are not tolerated.

ALL POSITIONS REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a clean and valid NC driver's license.

Minimum age is 18.

Reliable transportation to get to and from the job is a must.

Pay will be determined by level of skill and can be raised if skills are evident or learned quickly.
