Retail Sales Representative/ Stock Associate

Now hiring for our Durham, NC location at AFR Clearance Center! Employees work a five-day week and are entitled to $18 to $19 per hour plus commission, bi-weekly pay, paid time off, medical benefits, and employee recognition and rewards programs. Applicants should be comfortable with lifting furniture and assisting customers in sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build and maintain an understanding of the store's products and price information to assist with stock levels in the assigned location.

Remove sold product from the sales floor and prepare for customer pick up anddelivery.

Pull product for delivery and move to staging area forloading.

Pull product for pick up, move to staging area and assist the customer as directed.

Utilize proper material handling procedures to reduce injury and/or product damage.

Move stock as directed by the store manager to merchandise the sales floor.

Assemble or disassemble any furniture as directed by the store manager or assistant store manager.

Receive in Purchase Order following the AFR approved process.

Maintain a neat and orderly salesfloor and stock area including cleaning and touching up product.

Maintain and clean product on thesalesfloor.

Maintain and clean restrooms, interior and exterior common areas as directed.

Report any theft or suspected theft by customers or employees to management immediately.
