Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst role in Raleigh, North Carolina. The job function revolves around providing technical support for information technologies, handling routine maintenance and enhancements, and resolving technical problems with hardware, software, and work processes. Responsibilities include: Assisting in providing technical support for information technologies, including routine maintenance and enhancements. Identifying and assisting in resolving technical problems and issues with assigned hardware, software, and work processes. Delivering quality and timely results, including technical and customer support, based on assigned work and objectives. Complying with and supporting all corporate, department, and branch policies and procedures. Keeping manager, project teams and business unit customers informed of activities and problems within assigned areas of responsibility; referring matters beyond limits of authority to manager for direction. Troubleshooting Citrix applications, VMware VM-related issues, and PC encryption Softwares including SecureDoc, Wave, McAffee. Supporting laptops, desktops, and printers, and managing remote desktop connectivity applications like WebEx, and Windows Native tools, LANDesk, Team Viewer. Handling ITSM ticketing tools such as Service-now, Remedy, HP Service Center. Managing MS Office Suite (2007,2010,2013,2016): MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Outlook, MS Project, and MS Visio. Using skills such as Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Cisco Networking, MS Windows 10, VPN - Virtual Private Network to perform duties effectively. Requirements Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Experience with Active Directory Familiarity with Cisco Networking Knowledge of MS Windows 10 Ability to utilize VPN - Virtual Private Network Strong problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong customer service orientation Familiarity with desktop operating systems and various software applications Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs Good understanding of IT infrastructure Ability to manage time and priorities effectively Willingness to keep up with advancements in technology Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.
