In Eataly’s 24-hour operating bakery, a Lead Bread Baker is responsible for producing delicious bread and focaccia in accordance with our authentic Italian recipes. Reports to the Bakery Manager.Participates in and supervises the daily operations of the bakery and pizza alla pala countersPrepares pizza, bread, focaccia, rolls and other bread items for Eataly’s restaurants and retail operationsFollows proper proofing and baking techniques for each variety of breadMasters all shifts and production processes in the bakery, including overnight productionGuides trainees and externs through prescribed training proceduresMaintains a clean and sanitary food production area according to Department of Health standardsPerforms administrative duties such as inventory, ordering, transferring and waste trackingAssists Sales Associates if needed and engages with guests interested in learning about our bread productionPerforms other duties as required or assigned
