Description:

NC Health Care is a not-for-profit integrated health care system owned by the state of North Carolina and based in Chapel Hill. UNC Health Care currently comprises UNC Hospitals and its provider network, the clinical programs of the UNC School of Medicine, and nine affiliate hospitals and hospital systems across the state.UNCH is looking for three people to join their team of help desk team of 40 help desk technicians to assist in supporting all the end users within the hospital system. They average about 12,000 tickets a month, so it's important that they have someone who has experience with a global or enterprise desk.They troubleshoot issues related to hardware, basic applications, network connectivity, outlook and VDI (they use VMware vClient vSphere).Summer time is typically a busier time for the service desk - they support 50,000 users across the enterprise and are the first line of defense for anything IT related. Due to Covid, the team does have option to work remotely after a training period. Hours are standard Monday to Friday 8-5pm.

1.) Global/Enterprise Helpdesk Experience (10,000 users or higher) with knowledge of Service Now ticketing system. 2.) Minimum 1 year of experience with tier 1 technical helpdesk experience (hardware support, basic applications, Outlook, VMware vClient vSphere).3.) Customer Service Experience - it is important that they have a strong customer focused personality as they are the first line of defense for all unch customers.
