Responsible to the Division Manager and Field Supervisor for the performance of field crews working on Electrical Construction Projects at various job site locations. Projects involve the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment and electrical distribution systems in industrial, commercial, and institutional environments. Acts as a team leader who manages project schedules, monitors construction workers’ progress, coordinates inspections, and maintains all necessary equipment and supplies. Ensures employees are efficient, work meets local and federal regulations, and construction progresses according to specification, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities(include but not limited to):

· Operate a company vehicle

· Participate in project preplanning

· Enforce safety and quality standards at job sites

· Communicate job progress, budget vs actual expenses, and change orders

· Manage team of workers including work schedules and resource allocation

· Coordinate material and equipment deliveries with vendors and suppliers.

· Create schedules for workers and subcontractors.

· Track and document daily job progress.

· Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction goals.

· Provide technical instruction to field crew members when necessary

· Work at jobsites on occasions when additional labor is needed

Qualifications(Skills, Education, Certifications, Experience):

Required:

· Possess Valid Driver’s License

· Possess city card or Journeyman’s License or be able to acquire one within one year of hire.

· Possess reliable form of transportation

· Proficient at installing conduit and wiring systems

· Detailed knowledge of large feeder distribution, medium voltage system installation, switchgear, generators, underground distribution systems, fire alarms, and UPS

· Proficient with electrical service tools and testing devices

· Proficient at applying NEC to electrical work

· Able to follow written and verbal instructions and effectively communicate with customers/coworkers/supervision

· Ability to lead, direct, and instruct others

· 3-5 years of related experience, or 2 years experience plus an associates degree, or additional training or certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Graduate of an Apprenticeship Program

· Journeyman Electrician License

· Limited Electrical License

Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is a plus
