Experienced Carpenter Wanted

Stiltz of Charlotte is the local dealer and installer of Stiltz Home Lifts, a residential elevator company. We are looking to hire one full-time installer to join our team that has carpentry/home remodeling experience including framing, drywall, trim, and paint. Pay will be determined based on experience. This position will require travel within a 3-hour radius of Charlotte, NC. We often work in cities such as Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte, and Greenville, SC. We provide $150 per night per diem for your nightly accommodations when working out of town. Please only apply if you have the necessary experience and willingness to travel regularly.

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, year-round with the exception of Holidays. Since our work is interior only, we have no rainy days! Our schedule stays busy since we are the only Stiltz installer in a large territory. A company vehicle and tools will be provided to you after a 30-day review period. Health benefits will also be offered after the completion of a 30-day review.

Jobsite training to install the rope-driven lifts will be provided to you, but you must have carpentry experience. We complete all the framing and finish work in order to seamlessly integrate the lift into the home. Most lift installations are through the floor or freestanding at a balcony.
