IT Project Manager

Description Position: IT Project ManagerLocation: Hybrid - Charlotte, NCDuration: Long-Term ContractPay Range: $50 - $65 per hourOverview:We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and execute digital transformation initiatives with a focus on system integration. This role involves managing complex IT projects that require aligning technology with business objectives to drive innovation and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end project management for digital transformation and system integration initiatives.

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and business analysts, to ensure project alignment.

Manage risks, issues, and changes effectively, providing mitigation strategies as needed.

Oversee system integration efforts, ensuring seamless interoperability between platforms and applications.

Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Facilitate stakeholder communication to align project goals with business needs.

Drive continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned into future projects.

Requirements

5+ years of IT project management experience, with a strong focus on digital transformation and system integration.

Proven expertise in managing large-scale IT projects within an Agile or hybrid methodology.

Strong understanding of system integration concepts, including APIs, middleware, and data flows.

Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).

Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills:

Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe).

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and SaaS integrations.

Background in managing IT system migrations or upgrades.

Familiarity with data governance and security standards.
