Senior Treasury Analyst
North Carolina, Charlotte, 28201 Charlotte USAAbout this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst who will support Treasury's mitigation and compliance of Model Risk.Treasury at Wells Fargo is a dynamic team that is responsible for managing Wells Fargo's balance sheet including capital, liquidity, funding, and interest rate risk management. Treasury seeks to ensure Wells Fargo always maintains sufficient capital and liquidity resources to support growth in the Company's businesses, while also ensuring a satisfactory financial cushion exists to protect against unforeseen stresses in the economic environment or the Company's operations. Treasury also provides regulators, senior leaders, and the Board of Directors with key information to support risk management, financial performance management, and strategic planning.In this role, you will:
Support Model Owners of Quantitative and Qualitative Models to meet all Model Risk Management Policy guidance, including ensuring all submissions are timely for Model Development Documents, resolutions of Model Risk Findings and Model Monitoring Documents.
Perform as a resource for Model Owners to support model risk management as well as quality control for all documentation submitted by Model Owners.
Receive direction from leaders and develop the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate with Model Governance, Corporate Risk Management, and Internal Audit teams
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of Treasury function, including Liquidity, ALM, Funding, and Capital planning
Experience with regulatory requirements surrounding the management of model risk, interest rate risk, liquidity, and capital
Experience assessing the adequacy of policies, procedures and processes (includes compliance and operational controls within a large complex organization)
A Master of Business Administration (MBA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or comparable professional designation
Excellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to a broad range of audiences
Ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects
Ability to work in a team-based environment, prioritize tasks, learn quickly, provide superior customer service, and take on new challenges
