We deliver fast, reliable, and secure mainframe services for the Wells Fargo enterprise, and the successful leader in this space will manage the mainframe storage and replication function for the enterprise.In this role, you will:
Manage and develop Infrastructure Engineers in roles with low to moderate complexity and risk
Ensure the Information Technology infrastructure is always functioning as effectively as possible
Evaluate new software and hardware required to meet a business need or to make a process more effective
Define software and hardware standards
Identify and recommend opportunities for internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
Manage the design, installation, and maintenance of infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with team members and third party vendor
Review high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
Resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met
Make decisions and resolve issues regarding infrastructure to meet business objectives
Interpret and develop policies and procedures
Supervise and lead team in the implementation of technologies and platforms
Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
Lead team to achieve objectives
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Infrastructure Engineering
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of Leadership experience
4+ years mainframe hardware, systems programming, mainframe operations, and/or mainframe storage experience
3+ years of financial services experience
Desired Qualifications:
Mainframe replication experience is preferred
100% Remote work location is available for this position.New York Pay Range: $111,100 to $197,500Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
