job summary:

Position Summary

  • Looking to add a seasoned cross-functional systems resource to join the Real Estate Technology team within the Enterprise Employee Experience organization in Global Technology.
  • This resource will be a key resource providing technical leadership and coordination across multiple in-house managed applications.
  • The work will include, understanding business needs, industry offerings, solution development, NPT planning, and coordination of onshore and offshore development and testing resources to execute changes.
  • Systems include industry web applications, Oracle and SQL database components, .Net and Java components, API calls, and data integrations.
  • This person will work as part of a cross functional team supporting initiative and base technology needs. This resource must have communications skills and work directly with business contacts, architect resources, development, testing and production support teams.
  • Priorities will include systems focused care to improve system efficiency and stability while enhancing functionality aligned to enhancing the user experience and delivering on business priorities utilizing standard development methodologies.
  • Opportunity to learn and grow for the right motivated individual. This is not a coding role but understanding development lifecycle is a must.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of technical systems experience
  • Candidate must be motivated, innovative, flexible to adapt to priority changes and able to coordinate work execution
  • Work in an Agile/Iterative development following SDLC development with geographically dispersed teammates
  • Coordinate and execute development activities to include resource management, solution design and implementation
  • Ability to effectively and concisely communicate verbally and in written/presentation format.
  • Organizational skills
  • Willingness to listen, learn and grow as part of a team.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as within a distributed scrum team

Desired Skills

  • Expertise in web/application servers experience: MS IIS, ASP, WebSphere
  • Experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle; data modeling and data transformation, data security and management
  • Experience with .Net, Angular, CSS, C#, and API development, SOAP/REST development.
  • Experience with integration technologies to include Informatica, Mulesolft, TIBCO
  • Experience with data transformation and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, MicroStrategies
  • Basic knowledge of source code management Git, Bitbucket, Team Foundation Server and others
