Responsibilities & JD - Define the test strategies for Functional, Automation, Regression and Smoke Testing - Understand and implement the testing processes - Prepare functional and automation test plans - Deploy and manage test frameworks - Manage and select QA tools & processes - Identify and communicate risks during test planning and execution phases - Own (Lead) / Contribute (Member) to the end to end testing tasks like scoping, estimation, planning, work allocation, resource management, test design & execution, defect management, progress tracking & status reporting, management reporting, UAT support, test closure etc. - Plan & coordinate for timely availability of the test data & environments - Proactively communicate and collaborate with project teams, test teams and support partners across US & India - Ensure that all post test execution wrap up activities are conducted for projects per procedure / requirements - Facilitate regular communication with IT and business partners using various methods to monitor progress toward project goals / milestones, task status, and identify / address issues - Self-starter, highly organized; Works well with all functional levels in the organization; excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; high level of business management and facilitation skill; capability to resolve complex problems with minimum confusion, frustration, and inconveniences for all parties concerned. - Customer focused; Action-Oriented; Building Team Spirit; Self Development; Creativity & Innovation; Problem Solving; Ethics & Values - Planning; Aggressiveness; Commitment; Closure; Listening; Response to Change; Task Completion; Decisiveness; Influence; Communications - Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently as well as in a team setting - Define and Implement the QA metrics framework - Identify & drive the improvement opportunities in the QA space - Proactively communicate and collaborate with the other QA & non-QA teams Required Experience - Strong PeopleSoft Finance knowledge on following Modules but not limited to - ePro, sPro, AP, GL, SCM, AM, AR&Billings, eSettlements, EBS - Significant understanding on Procure to Pay process - Solid knowledge to stratergize testing on PS Batch Files,Interfaces,Upstream/Downstream feeds & PS tools /PUM / Patch upgrades - Experience in testing of ETL test scripts based on technical specifications/Technical Design Documents and Source to Target mappings - Ability to query database to validate data / ability to view and compare data files to identify differences - Ability to use the appropriate automation tools from the available options within TIAA and drive automation planning, Implementation and Execution. - Ability to work with 3rd party vendors when necessary, to start services, run jobs, etc. As we are testing in SaaS environment, we have limited control over certain aspects of the environment. - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Waterfall development process. Nice to have - Good understanding of financial mathematics, Actuarial and controller systems. - HRMS Experience adds value - Enterprise Automation Robotic Process Automation - Performance Testing knowledge preferred - Ability to take an active, visible role in supporting change efforts (change agent) - Ability to proactively identify opportunities for cost-savings and efficiency improvement Required Skills - Excellent understanding of PeopleSoft FinanceTechnology - Good understanding of data warehouse and ETL process; and related testing processes - Good understanding on Batch processes and related testing - Excellent in SQL and data analysis skills - Excellent in MS excel and other MS office applications - Automation Scripting Experience Selenium, ETL Validator or similar toolset Nice to have - Testing Certifications Ex: ISTQB, HP UFT Certifications, PMP and Oracle Certifications etc.
