We are looking for a consultant and developer who will support a Recurring Analytics Environment. This environment is used to process and stage data that is then used by analysts to complete analytical activity. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely updates of data including writing scripts that manage the data loading process, dependency management/process control, error capturing, and process resilience. Primary responsibilities will include

Designing a process for quality, flexibility, simplicity, repeatability, fault tolerance, debugging, and simple recovery on failures
Migrating from personal accounts to service accounts for supportability
Developing and leveraging a scheduling and orchestration system to support process control and efficient job execution and process reliability
Development of process documentation and a runbook to enable ongoing execution and potential hand off to Operations

Required skills

Demonstrated extensive experience in Teradata RDBMS design and development building datamarts/ datawarehouses.
Demonstrated extensive experience in leveraging Unix Shell scripting to automate processing.
Demonstrated extensive experience in writing and debugging SAS code
Experience writing Unix Shell scripts to execute SAS code and SQL code.
Experience writing process hardened Unix Shell scripting for ETL processes leveraging and incorporating scheduling, date parameters, process control tables, error checking, and process resilience.
