As a Service Electrician, you will represent the company on job sites and in customer spaces, delivering expert diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades to electrical systems. Carolina Voltage is committed to craftsmanship, safety, and supporting the professional growth of its team members, making it an excellent place to advance your electrical career.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical panels, circuits, lighting, and power systems in multifamily, commercial, and residential settings.Respond promptly and professionally to service calls, minimizing downtime for clients.Install and upgrade electrical systems, including panels, receptacles, lighting, and EV chargers.Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and wiring schematics to ensure efficient and code-compliant work.Maintain company tools, vehicles, and materials, keeping equipment organized, clean, and safe.Communicate clearly with customers and team members, providing transparent explanations and high-quality solutions.Identify opportunities for preventative maintenance or system upgrades to enhance client safety and reliability.Ensure all work meets or exceeds NEC, local, and company safety standards.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in electrical systems strongly preferred.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Minimum of 5 years of experience in service or field electrical work.Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.Experience in both residential and commercial service environments.Working knowledge of electrical panels, service upgrades, and aluminum-to-copper remediation.Ability to work independently and manage multiple service tickets per day.Must pass a background check and drug screening.Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work on ladders, lifts, rooftops, attics, and crawlspaces.Comfortable working in all weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.BenefitsCompetitive payPaid parental leaveComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coveragePaid holidays and paid time off (PTO)Advancement opportunitiesPerformance bonuses – earn up to 30% of monthly gross income in incentives Apply now in 2 minutes!
