Delivery Driver & Warehouse Packer needed

Delivery Driver and warehouse packer needed for small wine distributor, located in Woodfin. Full or Part Time hours available, $21/hr.

-Must have a clean driving record and be comfortable driving a large cargo van downtown and on the highways. Some professional driving/delivery experience preferred, but not required.

-Must be comfortable lifting forty pounds repetitively. Experience lifting and moving boxes would be a huge advantage, but not required this is a physically demanding job.

-Must be okay with an early start to the day - and with some variability on timing. Some days begin at 6:30, most begin around 7:30am - it depends on the day of the week and the specifics of the shift. We have multiple shifts open, so there is currently some room for preference here.

-Must have a professional appearance. Delivery drivers are the face of the company and frequently interact with our customers. A friendly and calm demeanor in moments of stress are necessary.

-Must be detail oriented, efficient, and self-organized. After being trained and guided for a set period at the start, you will be expected to organize your own route and complete your days tasks independently. This is a great perk of the job for the right person with the right skills.

-Must be comfortable handling wine and packing orders. No wine knowledge needed, but you will gain some along the way as you become more familiar with our products.

Finally, we are a small team so showing up on time, having a good attitude, and being dependable are highly valued. This is a great gig for someone looking for steady, physical, task-oriented work that allows you to be out on your own getting the job done independently.

Mostly Tuesday through Friday (never Saturday or Sunday). Earliest start is 6:30, average is 7:30/8. End time is generally by 5pm. Must have some flexibility with start and end times given that unexpected delays can occur, so there will be the rare day when you finish later than usual.
