Job Title: Cleaning Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented Cleaning Technician for production equipment. This position is responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of machinery and tools used in production processes. This role ensures that all equipment is prepared for safe and efficient operation, meeting regulatory and company standards for cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Cleaning:

○ Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, tools, and machinery.

○ Disassemble and reassemble machinery for deep cleaning as needed, ensuring all components are cleaned and reinstalled properly.

○ Remove residue, debris, and contaminants to maintain operational efficiency and product quality.

Sanitation Compliance:

○ Follow all safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations, including OSHA and other industry-specific standards.

○ Handle and store cleaning agents, chemicals, and equipment according to safety protocols and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

○ Ensure all cleaning procedures are performed to minimize risks of contamination or equipment damage.

Recordkeeping:

○ Maintain accurate logs of cleaning activities, schedules, and inspections.

○ Document and communicate findings from routine equipment checks.

○ Support internal and external audits related to equipment sanitation.

Collaboration:

○ Coordinate cleaning schedules with production teams to minimize downtime.

○ Work with maintenance personnel to address equipment needs efficiently.

○ Participate in cross-functional training to enhance knowledge of equipment and processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

● Knowledge of cleaning methods, tools, and safe chemical handling.

● Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, SOPs, and safety guidelines.

● Attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.

● Valid Drivers License
