Maintenance Technician

Colonial Finance Group seeks experienced maintenance person to join our team performing a variety of tasks necessary to maintain and enhance our residential apartments, homes and commercial buildings in the Oswego, Fulton, Clay area.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years building maintenance or building construction experience. Additional experience in plumbing, heating, electrical, appliance repair, refrigeration/air conditioning, pool maintenance is a plus. A valid NYS drivers license, reliable transportation and a working telephone at all times is required.

The position will include but not limited to: Paint and prep rentals (interior/exterior), complete maintenance service requests in a thorough and timely manner, mow and trim lawns, cleanup of grounds, open/close swimming pools, maintain accurate logs, adhere to all company policies and procedures, perform additional tasks as required.

Must be able to properly use general maintenance tools and equipment in a safe manner including but not limited to hand tools, power tools, ladders, mowers (riding and push), trimmers, snow blower. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend and stoop to access equipment on a regular basis, climb ladders/step ladders to access rooftops of residential and commercial buildings.

This is a full-time position.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; w/rotating on-call emergency service; overtime snow removal as needed.

Wage is $18-$20/hr.-benefits
