Summer Office Assistant, Career Development Center

The Career Development Center Summer Office Assistant is the first person visitors encounter. You will provide front desk coverage and office support for our staff. These duties include but are not limited to; graphic design and marketing projects using Canva and Linked In/Instagram/Facebook platforms, answering phones, scheduling appointments via Handshake, in-taking of clients, assisting drop-ins, calling alumni and employers to update records, inputting internship and job listings in our web-based recruiting system by extracting the necessary information from job forms, assisting clients in navigating the office website, and other outreach and projects/errands as assigned.This job position is temporary 30 hours per week of summer employment. As the first person that people encounter when coming in/phoning the office, communication skills, good at coordinating projects and attention to detail are extremely important. Pay Rate: $14.20/hr. Room and board negotiable and open for discussion.
