For our clients, that means their projects are expertly completed by team members who are well-qualified, well-trained, professional, reliable, and friendly.Benson Enterprises continues to grow and is currently seeking landscape professionals that are enthusiastic to join our team and continue our success.Our VisionTo be recognized as leaders in the landscape industry and as a growing company that creates a culture of positivity and growth for our team.Our MissionTo create opportunities for our team to grow and succeed by providing the highest level of landscape experience for our clients.Great reasons to work at Benson Enterprises:Competitive pay $20.00 – $28.00/hour.Weekly pay with overtime available.Industry Leading Benefits – including 401K + matching, Health Insurance, Paid Vacation and Holiday and much more!Our team members have been with us for an average of 9 years.We provide quality work to our hundreds of satisfied customers.YEAR LONG EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES to candidates who can competently handle varied responsibilities in other divisions of our company.Qualifications and Skills:All candidates must have experience with installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, plantings, etc.A focus on providing excellent communication and customer service to all our clients.Landscaping and hands on experience preferred, horticulture degree a plus.Highly motivated, reliable, and strong attention to detail.Strong time management, job planning skills, problem solving skills, and mechanical aptitude are a must.Positive attitude with appreciation and excitement towards the industry.Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.Individuals must be physically capable of properly lifting heavy materials on a regular basis.Will routinely load/unload vehicles (including equipment onto trailers) and safely transport equipment and materials to the job site.Safely operate vehicles such as trucks and trailer combinations.Clean and professional appearance.Punctual and dependable.Willing to work in a smoke-free workplace.Requires a high school degree or GED.Requires a valid Driver’s License.Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus, but not required.In addition to the requirements above, the unique responsibilities, knowledge, and experience for each of the positions is as follows:Completes the job in the most time-efficient manner while meeting the company productivity targets and meeting our quality standards.Routinely interacts with customers when working at job sites by answering questions, responding to customer requests, and ensuring the customer’s satisfaction throughout the project.Always maintain a clean and safe job site.Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to brick saws, blowers, line trimmers, skid steer, back hoe, etc.Ensures that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed and notifies management of needed repairs.Team Leader is an experienced landscaper that works as a member of the team and leads, directs, and motivates the crew to complete jobs within specified hours and to exceed the customers’ expectations.Strong candidates will be able to work well following instructions from the Team Leader, handling appointed responsibilities and helping others to achieve their goals.There is a distinguished willingness to learn proper techniques and the correct and safe operation of all hand tools, power tools, tractors and bobcats.Ability to read and understand blueprints / design plans and execute the work as planned.Team Leader must be proficient in machine operation (skid steer).Team Leader will make recommendations on job status or customer concerns to management.Team Leader must be able to work with minimal supervision, be able to lead a team of one or more crew members and follow project instructions to provide optimum services.ICPI and/or NCMA certifications preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL POSITIONS:Must be able to pass a drug screen.Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs.Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to all weather conditions.Ability to stand and bend for periods of time.WORK SCHEDULE:Monday – Friday, Saturdays as needed during peak seasons.Hours at times may vary depending on work demands.BENEFITS:Medical and Dental Insurance (80% paid Team Member premium and 50% family)Vision Insurance401 K with Company MatchingBenson Enterprises provides life insurance and additional short term & long-term disability insurance at no cost to you.
