Other Half Brewing- Warehouse & Distribution Driver

Other Half Brewery is looking for a committed part time warehouse and distribution associate to join our team in Bloomfield, NY!

Summary:

This position is focused on filling in the gaps for our Production, Warehouse, and Distribution Teams. Responsibilities include supporting within the warehouse - organizing, cleaning, unloading trucks, driving trucks and Sprinter vans, moving pallets, etc. - as well as supporting within production and the canning line operations, and delivering beer.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Maximizing space in order to store product efficiently in warehouses.

Construct, wrap and label pallets of product with precision.

Ensure dry-goods, warehouse, and cold room are kept clean and organized.

Track and record inventory of finished and partial pallets from packaging runs, and perform audits as necessary.

Ensure all positions on canning line have adequate and appropriate supplies.

Manually load and unload product from side loader truck.

Shipping & receiving of products (loading and unloading trucks).

Lift, stack, and transport cases and kegs of beer of varying weights to accounts.

Help with various other tasks/projects when required (inventory counts, deep cleaning, maintenance, pickups and deliveries, etc).

Equipment Operation - Safely Operates:

Forklifts, Sprinter Vans, box trucks, electric pallet jacks, non-electric pallet jacks, scissor lifts and any other machinery use.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a safe driving record.

Able to lift, load, unload and move products weighing up to 180 lbs and fulfill all physical requirements of the job.

Able and willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year or more of logistics/warehouse experience.

Previous beverage industry experience preferred.

The base pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
