This includes course development, mentoring of course coordinators, assessment, workload assignments, and other activities related to the campus and online pathway curriculum. Research initiatives include provide support and oversight to faculty research engagement and laboratories.

Provide leadership and management for all of the department’s strategic initiatives and operations;

Recruit, hire and retain faculty members according to the needs of the program;

Develop the department’s annual budget request and salary adjustments for faculty and staff;

Develop teaching, research and service partnerships with external collaborators;

Conduct annual reviews for department faculty and staff;

Represent the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences on the Executive Committee;

Engage in teaching and scholarship in areas of expertise and interest.

Education / Experience: Candidates from any pharmaceutical science discipline will be considered. Qualified applicants will hold a Ph.D., or other terminal degree. Candidates should have a minimum of six years of academic experience and a record of academic teaching, scholarship, and service which will qualify for the rank of Associate Professor or higher. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.Competencies / Skills: Applicants should:

Possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
