We encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply.Position Details Position Information Position Title IT Business & Project Coordinator (Part-Time) Position Type Staff Requisition Number 21287 Department Information Tech Services Title of Supervisor Chief Information Officer Full-time/ Part-time Part-time Work Hours per Week 20 Weeks Per Year 52 Months Per Year: 12 Work Days Flexible between business days Work Hours Flexible between business hours End Date (required for Temporary, Per Diem, Independent Contractor/Agency): Salary Range $20 - $22 per hour Hours and Months 20 hours per week, 12 months a year Exemption Status Non-Exempt Staff Job Description Job Description Summary Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, the part-time IT Business & Project Coordinator manages the entire workflow associated with campus technology procurement and maintenance functions, and coordinates the annual campus-wide technology proposal process. Scope of responsibility encompasses planning, prioritizing, budgeting, purchasing, payments, licensing, maintenance and inventory control for all technology software and hardware purchases. The IT Business & Project Coordinator assists the CIO with regular and effective communication to the Nazareth community as well as vendors.Essential Functions
Manages and reports on ITS budgets, hardware/software procurement activity and technology proposals and grants
Assists the CIO with the development, prioritization, management and monitoring of the ITS centralized capital, minor & one-time and departmental operating budgets
Manages the purchase of campus-wide computer software and hardware from requisition through payment
Assigns new inventory deployment responsibilities to technicians via ticketing system, and monitors/facilitates the associated workflow to ensure newly purchased hardware and software is deployed to the campus in a time-effective manner
Works closely with the ITS team and the campus to determine, manage and communicate campus technology standards
Proactively seeks technology savings opportunities
Coordinates the annual campus-wide technology proposal process
Coordinates the centralized IT asset management system for hardware and software
Collaborates with others to ensure the accurate tracking of campus-wide technology inventory (assets)
Monitors all software licenses and maintenance contracts to ensure compliance and renewal provisions
Provides leadership and coordination for effectively communicating the status of various strategic and annual technology proposal projects to the Nazareth community
Partners with others to ensure that technology proposal project milestones and software/hardware status (order placed, arrived, installed etc.) are tracked and communicated as necessary to the community
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential
Solid analytical, problem solving and organizational skills required
Must be able to effectively work with others in a collaborative environment
The ability to work as a team member is essential to success in this position
Attention to detail and deadlines are critical to the success of this position
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects concurrently

Required Education, Experience, Technology Applications and Skills
Associates degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Project Management, or equivalent experience required
Must be able to articulate project demands; recommend and negotiate priorities to support groups and committees
Demonstrated ability to manipulate data (import / export), organize and present to others in various formats
Exceptional organizational skills and be able to attend to and prioritize projects
Ability to successfully manage interpersonal working relationships
As appropriate, collaborate with staff in other units and divisions to achieve the goals of the University
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Handles confidential information sensitively and appropriately
