Summer Camp Counselor 18+

Overview:

Player 1 Academy is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Camp Counselors for our upcoming summer camp program. Our camp provides an innovative and engaging environment for children in grades K-6, blending advanced educational technologies with a nurturing atmosphere. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a key role in ensuring a fun, safe, and enriching experience for all campers.

Responsibilities:

Supervision and Safety: Provide constant supervision to campers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Program Facilitation: Lead and participate in various activities, including educational sessions, recreational activities, arts and crafts, and field trips.

Mentorship: Act as a positive role model, fostering a supportive and inclusive camp environment.

Behavior Management: Address any behavioral issues in a constructive manner, promoting positive behavior and conflict resolution.

Daily Operations: Assist with daily camp operations, including setup and cleanup of activities, mealtime supervision, and adherence to camp schedules.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with camp staff, parents, and campers, providing updates and addressing any concerns.

First Aid: Administer basic first aid as needed and respond appropriately to emergencies.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older.

High school diploma or equivalent required; college students or graduates preferred.

Previous experience working with children, preferably in a camp or educational setting.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Enthusiastic, energetic, and patient with a genuine interest in working with children.

CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Background check required prior to employment.
