Wild Animal Control Technician
New York, New york city 00000 New york city USAWildlife Removal Company looking to expand operations and seeking a technician to run a trap route and complete service calls & inspections. You will train directly with owner for a period of time and then be given a route to operate as a solo NYS NWCO.

Requirements
-Be driven, motivated to earn with the ability to work toward a larger goal overtime. Value loyalty.
-Be humble and trainable. Set aside ego for customer satisfaction and ultimately reputation of our work.
-Be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs for 100 feet. Set up and climb safely 30'+. Work in confined spaces like attics or crawl spaces. Work with fall protection gear. Be experienced with basic tools and construction.
-Have an interest in wildlife, outdoors, fishing, hunting, biology, construction, trapping, boating, arhcery/shooting, climbing, riding, farmingwill help candidate to identify with the work.
-Take responsibility for your tools, vehicles and equipment by routine maintenance & repairs time every week.
-Be available for 30-50 hours a week including occasional nights and weekends hours.
-Be respectful and professional at all times holding ourselves and the industry to a high standard.
-Understand the role of management in human animal conflicts - and - potential situational liabilities that may arise if upmost ethics, care and discretion aren't paramount at all times.
-Have a driver license.
Job Duties
-Inspect property for animal damage, sign or evidence.
-Run trapping programs with daily checks & perform euthanasia to AVMA standards or legal release. Adjust position and location according to empirical data from the problem animal.
-Use cameras, phones, game cam, drones & borescope, and software from a smartphone to document the work.
-Repair exterior entry holes temporary or permanent. Disassemble and reassemble.
-Live capture using net, tongs, catch pole or gloves birds, small and medium mamals.
-Remediate, restore and clean animal damaged confined areas using HazMat, HEPA and Fumigation techniques.
-Using advanced culling methods in a team environment.
Compensation
To start:
Week 1: 20 hours $350. This will be a 2 way Interview to see if it's a fit for 4 days.
Week 2: $20/hr guarantee 35 hours and OT over 40.
Week 8-12: $25/hr
Week 12-20: $30/hr
Week 20: $1000-2000 bonus.
Week 32: Full time NWCO Tech eligible for Commission schedule & benefits.
Once fully trained licensed and certified and able to perform a route alone consistently and reliably opportunity for commission based package. Opportunity to earn 6 figures within a few years for the right person.
