Position: Electrical Technician (Commercial & Residential Buildings)

Location: New York City and surrounding boroughs

Experience: 6-10 years

Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Technician with expertise in working on both commercial and residential buildings, including classic NYC properties and modern constructions. Experience with service calls as well as renovations and new construction. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering excellent results on a variety of electrical projects and understands the unique challenges of New York City’s electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in old and new buildings.

Install electrical wiring, circuits, outlets, and fixtures according to building codes.

Ensure safety and compliance with NYC electrical regulations.

Work with clients, contractors, and team members to complete projects efficiently.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide long-term solutions.

Requirements:

6-10 years of hands-on electrical experience in NYC, with knowledge of both commercial and residential systems.

Expertise in NYC building codes and regulations.

Excellent communication skills – ability to explain complex issues in simple terms.

A likable personality with strong interpersonal skills; able to work well with clients and team members.

High level of integrity and commitment to doing quality work right the first time.

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a focus on safety.

Must have own tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

Experience with both modern and classic NYC buildings.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
