Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Paint Repair Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus exclusively on repairing and restoring automotive paint surfaces, including addressing chips, scratches, fading, and other imperfections. This role requires precision, expertise in paint repair techniques, and a commitment to delivering flawless results that enhance the appearance of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate paint damage on vehicles, such as chips, scratches, and fading, to determine the appropriate repair methods.

Perform high-quality paint repairs, including touch-ups, color matching, blending, and refinishing.

Utilize specialized tools and equipment, such as paint sprayers, airbrushes, and polishers, to achieve precise repairs.

Mix and match paint colors to ensure seamless integration with the vehicle's original finish.

Prepare vehicle surfaces for paint repair by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.

Apply protective coatings and finishes to ensure durability and maintain the vehicle's appearance.

Conduct quality checks to ensure repairs meet industry standards and the customer’s expectations.

Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding the repair process, timelines, and results.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety regulations and proper handling of materials.

Keep detailed records of repair jobs, materials used, and techniques applied.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in automotive paint repair, including color matching and blending techniques.

Strong knowledge of automotive paint repair tools, equipment, and materials.

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to achieve flawless finishes.

Familiarity with various types of automotive paints, including water-based and solvent-based products.

Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills for addressing unique or complex paint repair challenges.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Certification or training in automotive paint repair or refinishing.

Experience with computerized color-matching systems.
