PAY: $28.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience

SCHEDULE: 7:00 am-3:30 PM

START DATE: ASAP

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Low Voltage Technician Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise installing mag locks, strikes, motion sensors REX buttons, and card readers. This role involves working on various low-voltage systems: repair work to doors, and installing, servicing, and maintaining automatic doors and gates.

Low Voltage Tech Duties:

Installation: Install access control systems, door hardware, and low-voltage wiring

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on access control systems, door hardware, and low-voltage wiring

Repair: Troubleshoot and repair access control systems, door hardware, and low-voltage wiring

Testing: Test access control systems, door hardware, and low-voltage wiring to ensure they are operational

Safety: Ensure that all work complies with OSHA and general safety regulations

Documentation: Document work on each project

Troubleshoot system issues and perform necessary repairs

Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals

Collaborate with other technicians and service personnel to ensure efficient system operation

Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively in the performance of duties

Low Voltage Tech skills:

- Proficiency in access control work

- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge

- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations

- Experience as a service technician or in field service roles

- Ability to read and understand schematics for low-voltage systems

- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for system installations and repairs

Additional Requirements for Low Voltage Technician

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have reliable transportation to the job site
