Job Description:
We are currently seeking a young, energetic, and eager-to-learn individual to join our team as a Junior Cabinet Maker and Woodworker Helper. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in woodworking and cabinet making. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced cabinet makers and woodworkers, assisting in various stages of the production process, and installation.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the construction and assembly of custom cabinets and other woodwork projects.
Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools under supervision.
Help in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and finished products.
Assist with preparation and sanding wood product for finishing.
Assist in on-site installations under the guidance of experienced installers.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support our team.
Must be punctual and organized
Location: 5 - 10 minutes walk from L train station
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeships in woodworking or related fields is a plus.
Strong interest in woodworking, cabinetry, and craftsmanship.
Ability to follow instructions and work well under supervision.
Good physical condition and strength; capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
Basic knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery is preferred but not required.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Must have a positive attitude and be eager to take on new challenges.
