Audio Video Smarthome Technician

Technician/Installer (Multiple positions available)

Global Custom Integrations is currently looking for a Driven, High-level technician in the greater NYC area with a minimum of 5 years experience in the Smarthome-Audio/Video industry. Must have experience running a crew and managing multiple projects. Knowledge of leading manufactures such as Savant, Crestron, Control4, Samsung, LG, Panasonic Phone Systems & Networking Experience. Will train where necessary and provide room for growth.

Qualifications:

- Must be able to interact with high end contractors.

- Ability to work independently and run a team of other employees.

- Strong attention to detail and skilled communication a must.

- Must possess clean driver’s license.

- Professional presentation, demeanor, and strong communication skills.

- Understanding of construction documents & plans

- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word & Microsoft Outlook knowledge

- Knowledge in Mac/Apple products as well as PC experience

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Install and configure residential AV/Home control system

- Testing and troubleshooting

- Installers are required to work on different jobs simultaneously requiring adequate records of task and frequent communications to update Service Manager.

- Assisting with pre-wiring, device mounting, speaker installation, network and telephone jacking, patch panel and punch block terminations and all parameters of pre-final AV installation work

- Document daily reports and status of jobs to be able to decipher next steps needed for completion.

- Assist in daily scheduling for technicians

- Assist in assuring product is ordered for current and upcoming projects

Education & Certifications Recommended:

- High school level education or higher

- Fluent in English

- Crestron level 1 technician

- Control4 level 1

- Lutron Homeworks QS programming

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65-85,000.00+ per year depending on experience
