HVAC Ductwork Installer (Mechanic or Foreman Level)

Vinco Mechanical and Metal Men Mechanical employs a staff of over 20, including service technicians, piping mechanics, sheet metal fabricators and installers, project managers, estimators, and administrators.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for being the lead working mechanic.

This position requires someone with extensive field experience (shop experience a plus), can read and understand blueprints, use of field technology, a fantastic work ethic, excellent communications skillD,

Responsibilities and Duties:

Install and manage field work - ensuring all HVAC equipment and ductwork is installed per code - and the team is complying with relevant safety, OSHA standards, and company policies - especially entering their time daily on time tracking application SERVICE TITAN

Order Material - working with the office to ensure POs are sent and materials are scheduled as needed

Intake job site issues and catalog them to action items to ensure customer satisfaction

Establish and maintain field installation pace to hit schedule

Mark up shop drawings with field completion status weekly

Create and email cut sheets

NOTE: This is a field/working position

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of sheet metal and HVAC installation experience.

Osha 30 Certified and NYC SST

Shop fabrication experience a huge plus

Valid Drivers license

Self-starter with ability to work with little supervision.

Compensation varies based upon experience
